TNS Launches Secure Internet Gateway in India and Signs First Customer

Transaction Network Services (TNS) has launched its highly anticipated Secure Internet Gateway (SIG) to the Indian market and revealed it has already secured its first customer agreement with one of the world’s leading international acquirers.


TNS’ SIG is the first IP device level solution to be offered to merchant acquirers and processors in India that has been specifically designed for point-of-sale payments terminals. Prior to this, acquirers and processors had to build their own infrastructure with solutions from local telcos.
