Entrepreneurs should be aware of the changes happening in the industry and they should not try to micro manage the business, according to Monica Agarwal, Managing Partner of Vaish Associates, Charted Accountants, New Delhi.

Addressing a meeting organised by the FICCI Ladies Organisation and Korn Ferry International for emerging women entrepreneurs, Monica said a board member of any company should be a good decision maker. “A company’s Board is the most significant element of corporate governance,” she said.

A number of women entrepreneurs participated in the event held at the ITC Welcome Hotels here.

“As a board member, you should act in good faith and in best interest in all stakeholders,” Ranjana Vaish Agarwal, also a partner of Vaish Associates, said.
