The long wait has ended. After eight years, the Coimbatore – Pollachi train began chugging. Commuters have welcomed the service for its reliability and more so a lesser pinch on the purse, especially in the wake of the recent bus fare hike. The Covai Post spoke to passengers on the train who are elated, though some suggest change in the schedule to help office-goers.
