eAgeTutor.com (www.eAgeTutor.com), the foremost online Spoken English training service in India, has been chosen by Redington Foundation as the delivery partner for one of the Foundation’s education and skills-development specific CSR initiatives.

As part of this noble initiative, eAgeTutor will train about 1800 students from 11 colleges, including four women-only institutions, across 11 locations in Tamil Nadu. The second-year degree course students undergo training in spoken English, employability skills and interview skills. The live & interactive instructor-led online training will be delivered via eAgeTutor.com’s proprietary Zilleon platform over a 3-month timeframe. Experienced eAgeTutor trainers will facilitate the classes from an eAge studio while students attend the “virtual” class from a physical classroom in their institution.

“We are extremely pleased to work with Redington Foundation and contribute to their laudable CSR initiative,” said Chander Madan, Founder & CEO of eAgeTutor.com. “The successful multi-location deployment of this program – 11 institutions in 11 locations – helps us positively impact a larger audience in a relatively short time. Robustness, scalability and effectiveness are the cornerstones of our online training model – and such deployments only reinforce our belief that elearning is very much here to stay.”

“We hope to be the partner-of-choice for organisations interested in undertaking CSR initiatives in the realm of education, more specifically, job skills/employability training programs.”

Commenting on the success of this online skills development initiative, Muthu Kumarsamy, Trustee, Redington Foundation, said, “It was important for us to have as much positive impact on as big an audience as possible within the resources available; the hybrid, online delivery model provided by eAgeTutor for us enabled us to do it. The scalability of this model, without affecting the classroom learning experience, was a great enabler in helping us achieve our goals. This training program will have benefited 1800 students with vital job-skills that will stand them in very good stead as they step into employment in a year from now.” Source: Businesswire
