COIMBATORE: The results of Plus Two and Grade 10 will be announced as per schedule and on time, School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan said here on Saturday.

“There will not be any delay in announcing the results, which would be received by students through SMS in seconds,” Sengottaiayan told reporters on the sidelines of an awareness programme on online counseling for engineering 2018, organised by Sri Ramakrishna institutions here.

Stating that the school education system was revamped in Tamil Nadu, which was nowhere in India, he said that new syllabus for classes 1,6,9 and 11 will be released in the next month end.

Municipal Administration Minister S.P. Velumani, who also participated in the programme, said that a similar verdict, like that of 11 MLAs, was expected with the regard to disqualification of 18 MLAs.

On feud between T.T.V. Dhinakaran and Divakaran over party matters, Velumani said that all his party men will be ousted one by one by him soon.

Asked about the possibility of return of Dhinakaran to AIADMK, Velumani said that that will be decided by the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister, who are also the party’s joint coordinator and coordinator respectively.
