Six students of KPR Academy make it to civil services

COIMBATORE: Six candidates who underwent coaching at city-based KPR IAS Academy successfully cleared the UPSC (main) examinations held in October-November last year.

According to Chairman of KPR Charities, the six candidates are D. Dhivya (rank 560), A. Sowmya (566), J. Aiswarya (639), S. Karthikeyan (731), S. Premkumar (778) and C. Aarthi (786).

A total number of 10,00,000 candidates applied for the preliminary exam held in June,2017. Out of the 6,00,000 who made it, only 13,445 qualified for written test.

“Only 2568 candidates made it for the final interview held between February 19 and April 25,” Managing Director K.P. D. Sigamani and Co-ordinator Raj Kumar said.
