Health daycare centre opened at Vellalore village

Coimbatore : City-based multi-specialty Royal Care Super Specialty Hospital today joined hands with Round Table to provide quality health care at its Kin Health Day Care Centre at Vellalore on the outskirts.

The centre was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister the late M G Ramachandran in 1981 and was extensively serving the people of Vellalore village and its surrounding region.

Coimbatore North Round Table 20 and the hospital shared similar interests to serve the community and provide good medical care at an affordable cost, according to hospital Chairman and Consultant neurosurgeon Dr K Madeswaran.

The centre will offer outpatient consultations and treatment, including specialty-wise consultation with laboratory, pharmacy and ambulance services. It will cater to the requirement of Vellalore village and surrounding region with a population of 70,000, Madeswaran said.

This is the third unit of the hospital in addition to the main centre at Neelambur and Gandhipuram, a hospital statement said.
