Couple die in accident caused by a police vehicle

A couple riding a two wheeler died when their vehicle was dashed against by a speeding police van carrying prisoners from Avinashi to Coimbatore. Though they were rushed to the hospital by the workers of the Kaniyur check post, their lives could not be saved. In light of this, public have demanded a speed breaker to be set in that place which sees such accidents frequently.
