With the call for strike by lorry owners association against rising petrol and diesel prices and toll fees on highways, more than 15000 lorries from Coimbatore district are staying off the roads causing huge losses. Meanwhile. the lorry owners association held a protest today in front of the South Taluka office, Coimbatore demanding that their demands be met and raising slogans against the government.
