On behalf of the Jananayaka Sanitary Workers Maiyyam, a documentary was released showcasing the sufferings of CMC colony people in Coimbatore after they were displaced from their residential area. Having shifted to apartments in Vellalur ,allotted by the government, they lost their livelihood due to distance from workplace and the children were unable to attend schools
