Conches rang louder at Sri Karpaga Sai Mandir

Scores of devotees descended on Sri Karpaga Sai Mandir, Edayarpalayam, to witness the 100th anniversary celebrations of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba Maha Samadi. Close to 1,008 special conches were used while performing rituals, including celestial bath, to the deity. The programme was held in line with the nine-day-long celebrations. Sourcing fresh flowers for the purpose, the deity was decked up in an eye-pleasing manner. Cultural programmes formed a part of the event.
