Parambikulam Tiger Reserve forest is accessible only from Pollachi. Tree Top Huts and Honey Comb Complexes are the added attractions here apart from the several birds and wildlife species.
Marvel at the natural and scenic beauty of the TopSlip in Annamalai Tiger Reserve. The lush greenery of this forest along with its Karianshola, Anaikunthi Shola, groves, teak forests, cascading waterfalls, dams, and reservoirs can be seen during a van safari and elephant safari. Trekking expeditions are also commonly done here.

You can see large tea and coffee estates in the hills of Valparai along with the Balaji temple, Sholayar Dam, Chitti Vinayagar Temple, Koolangal River, and Nallamudi Poonjolai valley view. The Aliyar Dam area is an ideal picnic spot where children can have fun at the mini Theme Park and see colourful fishes at the aquarium.

Take pictures at the Monkey Falls that lie along the Pollachi-Valparai road. Tourists can feel rejuvenated in the natural settings of the Aliyar Ashram. Devotees flock the Mason Amman Temple and pray to the sanctified shrine with great devotion.

You cannot miss buying some sweet jaggery from Asia’s largest jaggery market of Pollachi. Families can do boating in the stream flowing next to the Sri Amaralingeswarar Temple adjacent to the Thirumoorthy Falls. Take pictures of crocodiles at the Amaravathi Dam that is located close to Pollachi. Buy some handicraft items as souvenirs from the local markets here to cherish your travel memories.

Tirupur

This city lies in the Kongu Nadu region of Tamil Nadu. It is popularly known as the ‘Knitwear Capital’ of India. It contributes to 90% of cotton knitwear exported out of the country. Tirupur formed a significant part of the Roman trade route, and now several industrial parks have developed here. They provide employment to a large urban population.
