Rotary club’s annual international conference held in Coimbatore

The Rotary International(RI) district 3201, comprising of all 36 rotary clubs (in Coimbatore city), organised “ CASCADE 2019”, the annual International Conference for two days.
The two day event consisted of several cultural programmes and interactive sessions. There were discussions held on various projects and the future plans of RI District 3201. The contributions and services of several Rotarians were recognised and awards were presented in this convention.
Swami Sukhabodhanandha spoke on ‘Celebrate Life’, Political Analyst Sumanth C Raman on “India and Fake news Revolution’ and Actress Kasthuri on ‘Women- A force to reckon with’.
Rtn D. Ravishankar from Bangalore was felicitated for donating 100 Crores as funds to RI District 3201.
Several awards were presented to achievers in cinema industry, sports and the corporate fields. The vocational excellence awards were presented to actor Nasser and. Dhanasekaran of Saffire printers, Sivakasi. Rising diva award went to Sai Pallavi promising cricketer award went to Jagadessan of Chennai Super Kings .
There were numerous programmes like Cookery contest, interactive sessions with industrialists among others.
