Coimbatore Sahodaya Girls’ Football Tournament: Camford International School Lifts the Trophy

The Coimbatore Sahodaya Schools Complex successfully hosted the 5 A Side Interschool Football Tournament for Girls (U-19) on September 1 and 2 at Ambal Public School, Coimbatore. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from several schools across the region, promoting competitive spirit and sportsmanship among young players.
In an intense final clash, The Camford International School emerged as the champion, while SSVM Institutions secured the runner-up position. Akshara, a Grade 10 student of Camford, was adjudged the Best Player of the Tournament for her exceptional performance on the field.
Chairman N. Arul Ramesh, Correspondent Poongothai Arul Ramesh, and Principal Dr.Poonam Syal extended their hearty congratulations to the Camford team and expressed immense pride in the achievement of the students.
The two-day tournament highlighted the growing enthusiasm for football among girls in schools, while also serving as a platform to nurture sporting talent and teamwork.
