To benefit the residents of Thadagam and its surrounding areas, the KMCH Medical College officially opened its rural health center building on Wednesday, September 10, at 10:00 AM.
The new rural medical center was inaugurated by former minister and Karur Member of the Legislative Assembly, Mr. V. Senthil Balaji. The event was presided over by Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami, Chairman and Managing Director, KMCH, Dr. Thavamani Devi Palaniswami, Vice Chairman, and Dr. Arun N Palaniswami, Executive Director, KMCH. The inauguration was well-attended by local dignitaries and members of the public.
At this new center, patients can receive unlimited doctor consultations for a full year with a one-time outpatient fee of just Rs. 30.
The center also provides a wide range of free diagnostic services, including blood tests, urine tests, blood salt level checks, creatinine tests, blood sugar tests, Pap smears, blood typing, malaria parasite screening, chest X-rays, and ECGs.
Additionally, patients who are prescribed medication by the doctors will receive a three-day supply of medicine free of charge.
During his inaugural address, KMCH Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Nalla G Palaniswami urged the public to make full use of the KMCH Medical College rural health center, which was established for the welfare of the poor in rural areas.
