NCC Cancer awareness rally and seminar at PSG Medical College, Covai

As part of the Social Service and Community Development (SSCD) activity, The 6 TN Med Coy NCC organized a cancer awareness rally and seminar on 15 October 2025 at PSG Medical College, Coimbatore.
A total of 274 NCC cadets, along with 10 Associate NCC Officers and 7 army staff members, actively participated in this event.
The rally commenced from PSG Medical College covering a distance of approximately 2.5 kilometers.
During this rally, cadets raised slogans and distributed awareness pamphlets to the public, spreading information about cancer prevention and early detection.
Through this initiative, around 2,500 members of the public were reached and sensitized on the importances of cancer awareness.
Following the rally,
A seminar was conducted at PSG Medical College Auditorium, where experienced doctors addressed the participants.

This program aimed to promote community health awareness and enhance the social responsibility of NCC cadets.
