Coimbatore : The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Evergreen Education Group, and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) are jointly organizing the “Indo–AIT Joint Conference 2025” on October 31, 2025 (Friday) at 6:00 PM at ITC Welcom Hotel, Race Course Road, Coimbatore.

The conference will be graced by Ms. Sweta Suman, IAS, Managing Director of TIDCO, as the Chief Guest.

A press meet was held today (October 30, 2025) at the Coimbatore Press Club to announce the event. The meet was addressed by Dr. Pranesh, Director of the Department of Nanotechnology, Prof. Jai Govind Singh, Head of the Department of Climate Change at AIT, and Mr. Karthikeyan Dharmalingam from the Evergreen Education Group.

Speaking to the press, Prof. Jai Govind Singh said:

The Asian Institute of Technology, located near Bangkok, Thailand, is one of the world’s leading international postgraduate institutions. It offers Master’s, Doctoral, and Research programs in Engineering, Technology, Environment, Sustainable Development, and Management.

As a non-profit institution, AIT provides education primarily through scholarships funded by multiple governments and international agencies. The institute currently has over 1,800 students from more than 90 countries, and faculty members representing 25+ nations. Each year, AIT receives around 6,000 applications, out of which only 600 students are selected for admission, ensuring high academic standards.

AIT also offers dual degree programs in partnership with top global universities, including premier institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). While many students from North India have been joining AIT in recent years, participation from Tamil Nadu and other southern states remains limited due to a lack of awareness.

To bridge this gap, the Indo–AIT Joint Conference 2025 has been initiated to provide detailed information about educational opportunities, scholarships, and global exposure available through AIT.

Distinguished professors from AIT and senior representatives from the Evergreen Education Group will deliver detailed presentations during the event.

Students and representatives from educational institutions are invited to attend.
