Coimbatore MP, Dist.Collector, and Corp.Commissioner officially launch the18th edition of Coimbatore Vizha

The 18th edition of Coimbatore Vizha, branded as its Infinity Edition, was officially launched on Friday (31.10.25) by Ganapathy Rajkumar, Member of Parliament – Coimbatore Constituency; Pavankumar G.Giriyappanavar IAS, Coimbatore District Collector; Sivaguru Prabhakaran IAS, Commissioner in the presence of Shanmugam Palaniappan, Chair of Coimbatore Vizha 2025; Neil Kikani, Chair, Young Indians- Coimbatore and other invited guests.
The launch took place in Screen 5 of PVR Cinemas in Brookefields Mall. Coimbatore Vizha is organized by many organizations in Coimbatore and by the citizens of Coimbatore for 17 years to celebrate the Spirit of Our City – symbolizing a Colourful & Rich Celebration of the Culture, Traditions and Social Spirit of the People of Coimbatore.
Shanmugam Palaniappan, Chair of Coimbatore Vizha 2025 said that as the 18th year has infinity loop in the form of the number 8, this edition is branded as the Infinity edition. It is scheduled between 14th – 24th November 2025 . Around 150+ events have been planned to be held in the span of 11 Days with the common message of bringing the city together.
Some of the events to look out for include Sky Dance – an incredible Projection Mapping Experience. This Laser Projection Mapping show will showcase the history of Coimbatore and the development of the cities over the years through state of art laser projectors. This show is planned for 11 days from Nov 14-24th every evening from 6.30pm onwards at Park Grounds, Codissia.
