Coimbatore — Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), T.M. Palayam, Coimbatore, organized the NGI Olympiad 2025, a prestigious platform to recognize and reward academic excellence among school students across the nation. The event aimed to promote scholastic brilliance, healthy competition and intellectual growth among young learners.

The Valedictory Ceremony took place at 3:30 p.m. at P. K. Das Auditorium. Dr. V. Vijayakumar, Principal of Nehru Arts and Science College delivered the welcome address. The Chief Guest, Dr. Chaithanya Krishnakumar, Correspondent, Nehru International School, addressed the gathering, highlighting the role of education in shaping responsible and visionary citizens. Dr. Jayalakshmi Ramakrishnan, Principal of Airforce School, Coimbatore, attended as the Special Guest for the valediction. Dr. P. Krishnakumar CEO and Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions (NGI) felicitated the winners.

In total around 2000 students from 56 schools took part in the NGI Olympiad. Winners of NGI Olympiad from different categories were honoured with Certificate, Medal and Cash Prize. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. K. Selvanivayaki, Convenor. The NGI Olympiad 2025 stood as a testament to NGI’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development.
