Under-19 Boys category, Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School won the rolling trophy.

Stanes School CBSE emerged as champions in the Under-19 Girls category and also secured the Overall Under-19 Rolling Trophy with 122 points.

Coimbatore : The Kovai Sahodaya Schools Complex (KSSC) hosted its 10th Annual Athletic Meet – 2026 at the prestigious Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore, from August 17 to 19, 2026.
The three-day sporting has brought together more than 40 schools from across Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode and Karur districts, providing a vibrant platform for young athletes to showcase their sporting talent, discipline and competitive spirit.

The inaugural ceremony of the Athletic Meet held on August 17 at 8.00 a.m. in Nehru Stadium. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. N. Kannan, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City.

The meet witnessed a wide range of track and field events across different age categories. Competitions were conducted in the Under-12, Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories, providing young athletes from participating schools an opportunity to compete, showcase their talent and strive for excellence. The Kiddies Meet for children in the age group of 6 to 10 years was also conducted as part of the three-day sporting celebration.

The participating young athletes from various schools across the region demonstrated their speed, strength, endurance, agility and sportsmanship throughout the three-day event. The meet encouraged healthy competition while nurturing discipline, teamwork, perseverance and excellence among students.

The event was organised under the leadership of the Kovai Sahodaya Schools Complex office bearers. Mr. Girish Eswaran, President, KSSC and Principal of PSG Public Schools, led the organisation as President.

Mr. Mahesh Narayanan, Vice President, KSSC and Principal of P. A. International School, was a part of the leadership team.

Mr. S. Padmanaban, Secretary, KSSC and Principal of Vivekanandha Academy, coordinated the proceedings along with the other office bearers. Mrs. Uma Maheshwari, Treasurer, KSSC and Principal of SJN School, Kallar, and Mrs. Eileen Jethro, Joint Secretary, EB members Ms.Smitha Princiial CS Academy and Ms.Deepavathi Principal Kids Club of KSSC, played key roles in the conduct of the meet.

The Individual Championships were won by talented athletes from various participating schools. In the Under-12 category, Rakshan Jai Aswath S and Mukesh Sairam S shared the Boys championship, while Sanvika M won the Girls championship. Kavin Pranaav K and Aarudra T S / Saindhavi V N topped the Under-14 categories. Kartheeswaran R B and Jai Nitharssanaa S S won the Under-17 titles, while Mohith Surya S and Harini P secured the Under-19 championships.

In the Under-12 to Under-17 Boys category, PSG Public Schools won the rolling trophy with 129 points. Vivekanandha Academy Senior Secondary School won the Girls rolling trophy with 117 points and emerged as Overall Champions with 230 points.

In the Under-19 Boys category, Satchidananda Jothi Nikethan International School won the rolling trophy. Stanes School CBSE emerged as champions in the Under-19 Girls category and also secured the Overall Under-19 Rolling Trophy with 122 points.

The three-day meet concluded with the presentation of trophies and recognition to the outstanding athletes and champion schools. The event successfully celebrated talent, perseverance, discipline and the true spirit of sportsmanship among young athletes.
