TNAU signs MoU to conserve petroleum

The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has signed an MoU with Chennai-based Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), to jointly organize various training and awareness programmes on fuel efficiency in agricultural sector.

The programmes on fuel conservation will be conducted at agricultural workshops and during farmers meet, to create awareness on efficient usage of fuel, the university’s press release said.

The programme aims at reducing fuel consumption, leading to reduction in environmental pollution.
