Man killed in accident

In a tragic accident, a 31-year old man from Rathinapuri was killed in a road accident involving a two-wheeler and SUV near Mariappa Konar Street here on Thursday.
According to police, the deceased R. Senthil from Rathinapuri was reportedly riding pillion with S. Prasanth (31) from P.N. Pudhur near Mariappa Konar Street. An SUV reportedly hit the two-wheeler and Senthil was thrown away from the vehicle.
Even though he was rushed to the CMCH, he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. A case has been registered with the traffic wing of the city police.
