Department of Posts issues customized stamps to Coimbatore school

The Department of Posts is in the news yet again; this time for issuing the first ‘My Stamp’ to a school based in Coimbatore, on the occasion of its golden jubilee celebrations.

Recently, the Avila Convent Matriculation Higher.Secondary School, Coimbatore, celebrated its Golden Jubilee. As a part of the celebrations, a customized ‘My Stamp’ was issued by Manju P. Pillai IPS, Post Master General of India Post, Western region. In her address to those who attended the jubilee celebrations, Manju Pillai said “Avila Convent Matriculation Higher.Secondary School has created history today. This is the first private school to get a customized ‘My Stamp’ issued by the Department of Posts.” In a function, Manju Pillai handed over the stamp to the Principal of this school.

Mother Superior Rev. Sr. Soona, General Convener Anup Antony, Joint General Convener Lijo Chungath, and Finance Convener Maruti were present at the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
