NCC camp at TNAU

4 Tamil Nadu Battalion NCC is organising a Combined Annual Training Camp cum Republic Day Parade selection camp at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), here from August 1.
Around 400 NCC cadets, including 200 girls, from Coimbatore and nearby districts for the training camp and 150 cadets for Republic day parade are participating in the 10-day camp.
Selected cadets will attend the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi in January. Competitions for the selection include weapon drill and various cultural events.
Lt. Col. Antony Joseph, Commanding Officer, and Major C Rupa, Administrative Officer of 4 TN Battalion, are coordinating the camp activities, while Lt. K. M. Sellamuthu, NCCOfficer, TNAU, is coordinating the overall activities.
