Two missing Kerala youths traced in Tirupur

The Kerala police today traced two missing youths from their State in Tirupur. The two were said to be among those who were missing from Kerala to join the ISIS.

According to sources, the police arrived here to inquire about the suspected ISIS activist from Tirupur, who was arrested in West Bengal recently, to get details about those missing.

The two – Mohammad and Shabir – both from Malapuzha were found working in a garment factory here. They were immediately taken to Pattambi in Kerala in the wee hours today.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the youths had left their house, after quarrelling with their parents and landed in Tirupur and started working there.

So far, there has been so evidence to suggest that the duo had any plans to join the ISIS ranks, police added.
