NIA sleuths have taken four youths from the city for questioning for their alleged links with a person arrested from Kannur in Kerala, in connection with his suspected links with ISIS.
The youths were taken for quizzing, following their names being found in the contact list of Abu Basheer, one of the six arrested from Kannur 10 days back, police said.
The NIA has so far questioned 11 persons from the city, who were in the Facebook and telephone book contact list of Basheer, and let them off. The agency has also seized laptops, mobile phones and some electronic gadgets, they said.
All those taken for interrogation are living in and around GM Nagar in Ukkadam, where Basheer also lived some time ago. He used to offer lucrative jobs abroad to many youths in the vicinity, police said.
A report suggested that a youth from the area is already working for ISIS in Syria, police said.
