Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani mended her slippers at a local cobbler when she visited Coimbatore today. The cobbler P. Ganesan said that he was not aware that she was a minister. While the cobbler said that the mending charges was Rs 10, the minister placed a Rs 100 note near the cash box and told him in Tamil, “Change venda (keep the change)”
