‘Change curriculum for advancement of students and institutions’

The learning process has to undergo a big change, starting with the curriculum, and in turn raise standards in higher education by using e-content and focussing on the progress of the student, as well as the institution, said faculty members at a national seminar.
Around 250 faculty members from various colleges in and around the city participated in the one day seminar sponsored by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council on ‘Quality Enhancement in Higher Education’ at Sankara College of Science And Commerce.
Dr B Vanitha, Registrar of Bharathiar University, inaugurated the function and delivered the inaugural address and spoke about ‘Transformational Interventions to Achieve Global Standards in Indian Higher Education by 2030’.
Dr M G Sethuraman, Director of Internal Quality Assurance Cell at Gandhigram Rural Institute, highlighted the ‘Quality Metrics in Higher Education’, followed by Dr P Shanmugavadivu, Professor and Head at the Department of Computer Science & Applications, Gandhigram Rural Institute, speaking on ‘Quality Sustenance Parameters for Higher Education’.
Dr J Radhika, Principal of Srimad Andavan Arts & Science College, Trichy, highlighting the issue of ‘Quality Enhancement in Teaching and Learning’.
