Axis Bank inaugurates a new branch here

Axis Bank, India’s third largest private sector bank, has opened its new branch in the city.
Inaugurating the branch yesterday, Axis Bank Deputy Managing Director V Srinivasan said that the bank has witnessed the increasing demand of banking services and products among retail and institutional customers in Tamil Nadu.
In order to bridge this gap, the bank has expanded the existing network to cater to customers and enhance their overall banking experience, he said.
The branch on Thadagam Road shall cater to all basic banking transactions and also to the specific needs of customers, offering the entire spectrum of banking products and financial services covering retail, institutional and consumer lending, a bank release said today.
The branch will regularly educate and encourage customers to make more use of digital mode of payments for their daily transactions. On digital payment solutions, the bank offers the desired infrastructure across the country to conduct cashless transactions.
