Veterinarians from the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve have begun the operations to drive back a herd of wild elephants that have been destroying crops in and around Echamvayal area in Gudalur for the last 10 days.

Sanitary staff of the Udhagamandalam Municipality would visit market areas two days a week and collect plastic waste that can be recycled and reused.
