Vanathi Srinivasan files defamation against former BJP members

The Vice-President of Tamil Nadu unit of BJP, Vanathi Srinivasan, has filed a defamation case against two persons today for spreading rumours against her and her family members in the social media.
The BJP leader filed the case against Balasubramanian Adithyan and Sankaranarayanan, both former members of BJP.
The two have been accused of publishing false news and spreading baseless allegations against Ms. Srinivasan and her family members in social media, in spite of her repeated demands to prove their claims.
As the two continued to do the same, Ms. Srinivasan filed the case in the Madras High Court today.
