A four-year-old boy died of mysterious fever in the Government hospital here early today.

Mithun, studying in Pre-KG and resident of RS Puram in the city, was suffering from mild fever and breathing problem for the last two days and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

He suddenly developed high fever and breathlessness last night and was admitted to the Government Hospital, police said.

However, without responding to the treatment, Mithun died early today. The blood samples have been sent for examination to ascertain the reason for the fever and breathless and subsequent death, they said.
