Bengaluru: The Karnataka HC on Friday asked the BMRCL to fulfil the demands listed out by BMRCL Employees Union before May 20, failing which employees would be eligible to go on strike.

Taking the BMRCL management to task, the court said that it would not come to their aid if the employees decide to go on strike.

“It is very much regretted that neither you nor any of your representatives have responded positively so far to our letter dated 23.04.2018.

Therefore, the executive committee of our union at its meeting held today decided to revive the strike call and call upon its members to go on an indefinite strike from the early hours of 28.04.2018,” a release from the employees union said.

The union added that it had been forced to take this extreme step by the management and the representatives.
