The first edition of ‘Amar Ujala Excellence Award’ was organized on 16th September at a glittering ceremony in Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi, in presence of senior ministers, bureaucrats, celebrities & other dignitaries.

In this event, 16 top personalities were honored with the ‘Amar Ujala Excellence Award’, by senior Union Ministers, Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Mr. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Mr. Satyapal Sign & Mrs. Anupriya Patel.

Mr. Subhash Ghai (Film Personality),Mr. Chandi Prasad Bhatt (Social Worker), Ms. Shovana Narayan (Danseuse) & Dr. Rajeev Agarwal (Doctor) were conferred with ‘Lifetime Excellence Award’. Another 12 people were felicitated for their path-breaking work in the fields of education, business, rural welfare, healthcare, travel & tourism and other genres.
