AIADMK women burn Elangovan’s effigy

Protest against the derogatory remarks made by TNCC President EVKS Elangovan on the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the women’s wing burning his effigy at Cross Cut Road.

The women first took out a symbolic funeral procession of the effigy, and in the midst of loud wailing, poured kerosene on it and set it ablaze. Coimbatore Deputy Mayor Leelavath Unni led the protest.
