Amrita Vidyalayam, Nallampalayam, celebrated its Annual Sports Meet 2024-2025 on January 24 and 25, with great enthusiasm and participation. The event was presided over by Swami Muktamrita Prana, Manager, Amrita Vidyalayam, Nallampalayam, Ettimadai, Kalapatti.

The Chief Guests included Lieutenant Colonel Biju BK, Administrative Commandant, Station Headquarters Army, Redfields, Coimbatore, and Thiru. Richard Moses, Group Captain, Indian Airforce, Sulur. Lieutenant Colonel Biju BK appreciated the students for their effort, emphasized the value of participation, the spirit of true sportsmanship, and expressed gratitude to parents for their unwavering support.

Addressing the students, Thiru. Richard Moses encouraged them with his powerful words: “You are all stars, and challenges are stepping stones to success. Obstacles inspire us to grow stronger, and failure is never final -what matters is rising again. Stay focused, stay determined, and always remember that the best is yet to come.”

The Guests of Honor, Dr. P.K. Kavithashri, Director of Physical Education, Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, and Dr. Mrs. Nandhini, Assistant Director of Physical Education (SS), Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore, inspired the students by highlighting the importance of perseverance, hard work, and time management, while encouraging them to embrace obstacles as opportunities for growth and strive for holistic development in their academic and athletic journeys.

The two-day event included a colorful march-past, lighting of the torch, athletic competitions, cultural displays, and fun-filled games for parents and staff. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where outstanding performers and the winning house were felicitated. The Principal congratulated the students, faculty, and parents for making the event a grand success, reaffirming the school’s commitment to fostering sportsmanship and holistic education.
