Thanjavur: A 24-year-old anti-social, Vinish, son of Francis and resident of Theradi street, Pattukottai, was detained under the Goondas Act on the orders of Collector A Annadurai.
Based on the recommendations made by SP J Mahesh and relevant documents produced by Circle Inspector K Singaravel of Pattukottai police station, Collector Annadurai ordered the detention of Vinish as goonda under the section 3(i) of Tamil Nadu Act14/1982. Subsequently, Vinish was lodged at the central prison in Trichy.
