The Camford International School hosted the Camford Feather Flight Badminton Tournament 2026 on Sunday, bringing together more than 180 young badminton players from over 35 schools across the region.

Held at the school campus, the tournament provided a competitive platform for budding shuttlers to demonstrate their skills, speed and sporting spirit. Matches were conducted in the Under-9, Under-11, Under-13 and Under-15 categories for boys and girls.

The young players showcased impressive talent and determination throughout the competition, with several closely contested matches highlighting the growing interest in badminton among schoolchildren.

Winners

In the Boys’ categories, Siva Mithran I.E of C Vel International School emerged winner in U-9, while Raaghav of C Shaanthi School won the U-11 title. Dhuvarakan of GGR Matric Higher Secondary School secured the U-13 championship, and Vishvesh R.E of R.V. Academy emerged victorious in U-15.

In the Girls’ categories, Mirthula D.E of Vidhya Niketan Public School won the U-11 title, Aishaya Sri of Chinmaya School secured the U-13 championship, and Lakshitha M.S of The Camford International School emerged winner in U-15.

The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where Mr. N. Arul Ramesh, Chairman of The Camford International School, presented trophies, medals and certificates to the winners. He also congratulated the participants for their dedication and sporting achievements.

The event reflected the school’s continued efforts to promote sports alongside academics and provide young athletes with opportunities to develop discipline, perseverance, confidence and sportsmanship through competitive sport.
