Coimbatore : City-based super speciality hospital Royalcare has received the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH) Safe-1 Certification for best infection control practices.
The NABH Safe-1 programme is conducted to prevent and control hospital-acquired infections,Royal care Super Specialty Hospital Ltd chairman K Madheshwaran told reporters here.

Through the programme, the board recommends safe injection and infusion practices, biomedical waste management, health care workers safety, sterilisation and disinfection process as quality initiatives, he said.
Royalcare is the first hospital in western Tamil Nadu to get this certification, Madheswaran added.
