In a significant humanitarian initiative combining advanced rehabilitation technology with social service, National Award-winning organization Narayan Seva Sansthan will organize a free corrective surgery screening and artificial limb measurement camp for differently-abled persons in Coimbatore on May 24.

The camp, which will feature Japanese-German technology-based 3D Printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs, is aimed at helping beneficiaries regain mobility, confidence, and independence through modern prosthetic solutions.

Addressing reporters during a press conference held at Rajasthani Hall in R.S. Puram, Camp Coordinator Achal Singh Bhati and social worker Santosh Mundra said the organization is conducting the camp in Coimbatore for the second consecutive year following the overwhelming response received previously.

According to the organizers, more than 650 differently-abled individuals benefited during the earlier camp through artificial limbs, rehabilitation support, and medical assistance. Encouraged by the response, this year’s edition will incorporate more advanced technological facilities and personalized rehabilitation services.
The camp will be held on Sunday, May 24, at Maheshwari Bhavan, located at KNG Pudur Pirivu, Somayampalayam, Thadagam Main Road. Registration and medical examinations will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The initiative is being organized with the support of Matrushree Shantaben Tribhuvandas Patel Charitable Trust of Surat, Gujarat.

Speaking at the event, Achal Singh Bhati said the initiative goes beyond distributing artificial limbs and focuses on bringing long-term transformation in the lives of differently-abled individuals through cutting-edge rehabilitation technology.
He explained that digital measurements would be taken for lightweight, flexible, and body-friendly 3D Printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs developed using Japanese and German technology.

Compared to conventional prosthetics, these modular limbs are designed to offer greater comfort, durability, and mobility, enabling beneficiaries to return to normal life with ease.
A team of experienced orthotists and prosthetists from the institution will conduct detailed individual assessments and customized measurements based on each beneficiary’s body structure. Beneficiaries are expected to receive their personalized artificial limbs free of cost within two months after the measurement process.

The organizers also announced that individuals identified as requiring corrective surgeries would be selected for free treatment at the institution’s modern hospital in Udaipur.
Social activist Santosh Mundra said the organization aims to ensure that a maximum number of differently-abled individuals from Coimbatore and surrounding districts benefit from the camp. Free food, tea, and refreshments will also be provided for participants and accompanying family members.

On the occasion, Harishbhai Patel, Chairman of T.M. Patel International School, emphasized the importance of collective social responsibility in empowering differently-abled individuals through healthcare, education, and humanitarian initiatives.

During the press meet, organizers Achal Singh Bhati, Santosh Mundra, Jitendra Pugalia, Kamal Kishore Agrawal, and Rajesh Agrawal officially released the poster for the camp.
