College students clash, stone pelting reported

Tense moments prevailed at the Palakkad Main Road when gangs of students belonging to a private college clashed, with some pelting stones on the college bus that was parked in the campus.
No injuries were reported and the college management has not filed any complaint yet. In an attempt to downplay the incident, the college has declared a two-day holiday as part of the Onam celebrations.
