CPI State Committee meet to discuss political situation

COIMBATORE: The Tamil Nadu State Executive Committee meeting of CPI began here on Monday.

Top leaders, including its General Secretary S Sudhakar Reddy, National Secretary D Raja, veterans R. Nallakkannu and D. Pandian are among those participating in the meeting, party sources said.

The State Committee of the party, which will be meeting for two days from tomorrow, after taking stock of present political situation, take important decisions particularly the strategy, like poll-alliance, to be adopted by the party, they said.

The meeting will also discuss the prevailing economic and industrial situation in the State and the Country, the sources said.
