Disgruntled party members float MGR Jayalalithaa AIADMK

A new political party, MGR Jayalalithaa AIADMK, has been floated by the disgruntled elements within the AIADMK in Erode. The new outfit was launched by former functionaries of the AIADMK, who are not happy with the way their parent party is run, more so with the ascension of V.K. Sasikala to the party’s top position.
A group of AIADMK functionaries who have resigned their respective posts they held in AIADMK, including Gowrishankar, who resigned as President of Amma Peravai, and Farook Ali, who resigned as Fisheries Wing Secretary, have come together to float the new political outfit.
“We will formally appeal to Deepa, Amma’s niece to lead the new political outfit from the front, as we are opposed to Sasikala. The new party would serve as a platform to all disgruntled elements, which are presently within the AIADMK,” they said.
While the new party’s flag would have MGR and Jayalalithaa, adoring the central white strip would be the symbol for the new party – two roses instead of two leaves.
