DMK fast demanding flyover completion

Members of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), today, observed a fast demanding early completion of flyover works in the city.
The main demand was to ensure completion of the flyover at SIHS Colony at Singanallur. The Tamil Nadu Government had sanctioned Rs.22 crore for this project. However, when the project was in its final stage, the work had stopped.
Former DMK Minister Pongalur N. Palanisamy, led the fast, and spoke on the delay in completing the project. He exhorted the Government to complete the flyover project. He added that the fight would continue if the authorities did not take any action.
