Drivers killed, six injured in collision

Drivers of a lorry and a van were killed and six others injured, when their vehicles collided head on near Palladam in Tirupur district, yesterday.
While the lorry driver died on the spot from the impact, the van driver at the Palladam Government Hospital, police said.
The injured are being treated at the hospital.
