The world renowned gemology institute, GIA (Gemological Institute of America) is all set to launch its globally recognized Graduate Diamonds (GD) Diploma programme in Hyderabad, the first in South India. The course begins on August 20.
The 7-week course will include the GIA-designed scale of 4Cs (colour, cut, clarity, and carat), and, identifying and grading the diamonds from D to Z, based on its colour. There will also be regular industrial visits to polishing centres and retail outlets.The certificate issued will be recognized all over the world.
