Out to give people an opportunity to savour Chinese food, Gokulam Park Hotels has started Indo–China food festival at its restaurant. The festival will be on till April 24.
It is a combination of 60 per cent Chinese and rest Indian delicacies at the festival for Coimbatoreans who also prefer Indian dishes along with international cuisine.
“This is the outcome of requests made by our guests. Chinese food is a favourite of children. Since vacation is starting, we expect children to come and enjoy the delicacies we provide,” said hotel General Manager Rafiq Ahmed.
There are live counters where dishes preferred by guests are cooked before and served right in front of them, he adds.
“There is also variety in the menu for guests to choose. We have three different menus that keep changing on alternative days,” said C. Arul Selvan, Executive Chef.
Dishes include lung fung chicken soup, tempura vegetable tossed, tareewala kukkad, paneer noorjahani, diwani subzi hundi, karela ki dalma, hot dim sum and lauk-ki-dalma.
