GRD College Hosts Inspiring ‘Face to Face’ Session with Author Ketan Bhagat

The GRD School of Commerce and International Business at Dr.GRD College of Science hosted a compelling session of its flagship interactive series “Face to Face”, featuring bestselling author, speaker, and thought leader Mr. Ketan Bhagat, on the topic “Formula of Success.”
Bhagat,known for his spiritually infused novels like Complete/Convenient and Child/God, challenged traditional notions of success. Through engaging storytelling, real-life examples, and philosophical insights, he introduced a powerful perspective — success is where human effort and beyond-human forces intersect.
He dissected traits like intelligence, talent, and discipline, showing they alone don’t guarantee success. Instead, he urged students to embrace failure, believe in themselves, and recognize the influence of spirituality, destiny, karma, and luck.
A unique Venn diagram illustrated how “Human” elements (effort, education, discipline) and “Beyond Human” elements (God, astrology, destiny) together shape success. Quoting the Bhagavad Gita, he reflected on free will, encouraging students to stay authentic and emotionally strong.
More than motivational, the session was transformational, leaving students with deep reflections on success, life, and self-discovery.
