Kochi: Kerala High Court on Wednesday allowed reopening of accused actor Dileep’s Dcinemaas at Chalakkudy in Thrissur district.

The permission was granted quashing Chalakkudy municipality’s decision to close the theatre.

Functioning of the theatre could not be disrupted just because there was a problem with the licence of the generator at the theatre, the court said.

The petition challenging the municipality’s decision to close the theatre was filed by Dileep’s brother Anoop, who is also manager of the theatre.
