Helmetless man dies in road accident

A 56-year-old man died of injuries after falling from his two-wheeler near Malumichampatty here on Wednesday. He was riding without a helmet.
According to sources, the deceased K. Mohan (56) from LG Nagar in Vellalore, was working as a lathe turner near Malumichampatty. On Wednesday, Mohan was riding his two-wheeler on L&T Bypass Road near Anaiyalar. His bike accidentally skidded on the road and he fell, sustaining injuries on his head.
He died on his way to the hospital. A case has been registered with the Karumathampatty Sub Division police.
